Julia Blount

Julia Blount, 75, of Allentown died on June 17, 2012 at St. Lukes Hospital, Allentown. Born in Old Trap, North Carolina, Julia was the daughter of the late John Henry and Inez (Jones) Brickhouse. Julia was the wife of the late Raymond A. Blount who passed away in 2005. She was an active member of Union Baptist Church, Allentown.

SURVIVORS: Sons, Willie Brickhouse and wife Linda, Charles Brickhouse, Daniel Blount and fiancee Ursula, Raymond Blount Jr. and wife Margaret, Alvin A. Blount and wife Hun-Suk, and Chris P. Blount; sisters, Lucille Tremmell, Inez Shannon, Elizabeth Thorton and Joyce Shaw; brothers, Charles and John Brickhouse; 33 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Olivia Brown and a brother, Elijah Lamb.

SERVICES: Saturday, June 23rd, 11 a.m. in Union Baptist Church, 302 N. 6th St., Allentown. A viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Interment to follow in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Allentown. Arrangements made by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.
